Please use this search tool to discover the holdings of our Manuscript Collections and University Archives. For the Rare and Special Book Collection, please search the Libraries’ main catalog. For questions, please email archives@nullclemson.edu or call 864-656-3031. We strongly recommend that you contact us before visiting in person. This allows us to fully explore your research project with you, make recommendations when possible, and have the materials you have requested ready for your visit. We want to make your time with us as productive as possible and appointments greatly help.
Using the Database
- Start with a keyword search in the search bar above.
- You may also search for a specific collection title, creator, subject, notes, or identifier by selecting a field from the dropdown menu to the right of the search bar.
- You can narrow your date span by adding a beginning and or end date in the Years field.
- Click the + button to the right of the search bar to conduct a Boolean search. This will allow you to combine keywords with operators such as AND, OR, or NOT to produce more relevant results. You can add multiple Boolean searches.
- Browse the contents of a collection by using a guide’s Collection organization pane. Click the arrows to expand or collapse to view or hide content.
