Work Space and Technology
The EMC offers 40 seats at whiteboard tables with electrical and USB outlets as well as several more accessible seats around the perimeter of the room. Two seats with a Mac and PC desktop computer are also available, and most seats provide access to our two Clear Touch interactive whiteboards.
The Clear Touch boards are available for use by anyone in the EMC. Clear Touch reservations are also available for College of Education faculty, staff, and graduate instructors to use throughout Tillman Hall as needed. These interactive displays are highly recommended for group work and can be used for presenting and annotating digital content, online video and audio conferencing, and use of interactive whiteboard software. Clear Touch boards can be used with the integrated Android operating system or by wireless or wired connection with any computer or mobile device. Many applications including Snowflake, SMART Notebook, and Promethean ActivInspire are installed on the Clear Touch boards and can be downloaded from the company websites for individual and field experience needs.
A mini refrigerator, microwave, and single-cup Keurig are also available for use in the EMC commons area.
Meeting Space
EMC meeting room reservations are available for up to 4 people at a time. It offers easy access power outlets, a HDMI connection to a large display monitor, and a whiteboard with dry erase markers.
EMC commons area reservations for up to 45 people are also available for College of Education meetings, events, non-recurring classes only.

Computer Gaming and VR
The computer gaming and VR area offers advanced desktop computers, large monitors, an Assetto Corsa Playseat driving simulator, a new flight simulator, and access to STEAM games and associated virtual reality equipment available at our service desk. Reservations are required for a maximum of 6 people at one time. Due to collection access needs, the door to this room must remain open at all times, and all virtual reality equipment must be returned to the service after use.
Console Gaming and VR
The console gaming and VR room offers a large TV connected to PS4 with VR, XBox One, Xbox 360, and Wii U consoles with access to many games and controllers available by request at the service desk. Reservations are required with a maximum room capacity of 4 people. All games, controllers, and virtual reality equipment must be returned to the service desk after use.
3D Printing
Two MakerBot 3D printer stations are available for free use. Reservations are required for our single person production only station as well as a design or production station that accommodates up to 2 people at a time. 3D printing tools are available in the room, and design and project consultation is also available by appointment and offered workshops.
Audio Production / Green Screen
The audio production / green screen offers a variety of input and output equipment options as well as controllers, synthesizers, keyboards, and software. A portable green screen is also available for video production. Reservations are required, and photo and video production technology are available at the service desk and can be used outside of the DML Lab as needed. Audio and video project support and consultation is also available by appointment and offered workshops.
Meeting / Green Screen
The meeting / green screen room offers 6 seats with a large display monitor, HDMI, VGA and Apple AirPlay connections, and a portable green screen for video production. Reservations are required, and photo and video production technology are available at the service desk and can be used outside of the DML Lab as needed. Video and photo editing support and project consultation is available by appointment and offered workshops.
Work Space and Technology
The DML Lab offers 15 seats in our commons area with access to a large display monitor, HDMI, VGA and Apple AirPlay connections as well as several other seats scattered throughout the Lab. Commons area reservations are available for groups and classes utilizing the Lab collections and other spaces.
Three Mac and one PC desktop computers with advanced editing software are also available throughout the Lab with video and photo editing support and project consultation available by appointment and offered workshops.
