Submissions Open for Undergraduate Student Research Award

The Clemson Libraries Undergraduate Student Research Award aims to recognize outstanding scholarly or creative works produced by current undergraduate students who utilize library resources and services. Whether it’s through books, scholarly articles, primary resources, databases, or any other library service, we want to celebrate the incredible work of our students.

Here are some key details about the award:

Eligibility: Open to all current undergraduate students enrolled at Clemson University. Group projects are welcome, with all undergraduate students named on the project required to be currently enrolled at Clemson.

Prizes: Three monetary awards will be granted, with winners honored at an awards ceremony in April and featured on the library website. Winners will also be expected to make their projects available in Clemson Open, Clemson University’s digital repository. The prize breakdown is as follows:

First place: $1000
Second place: $750
Third place: $500

Important Dates: 
Submission period: March 24 – April 11, 2025
Review period: April 14 – April 18, 2025
Recipients will be contacted by April 18, 2025
Reception date: TBD
