Due to COVID-19, there will be service limitations among some of our library partners through which we share materials like books, DVDs, and other physical items. It has been determined at the state level that PASCAL Delivers (Partnership Among South Carolina Academic Libraries) services will be suspended for the foreseeable future. Similarly, interlibrary loan services through the ASERL (Association of Southeastern Research Libraries) network have been suspended due to health concerns.
We are able to process requests for journal articles and other electronic content (like electronic theses and dissertations, standards, reports, abstracts) in partnership with other universities; however, borrowing books from other libraries is contingent upon library operations and mail/courier services not only at Clemson University but at other institutions. We will continue to monitor these services and alert everyone as soon as there are changes.
If you currently have items checked out to you that you received through PASCAL Delivers or interlibrary loan services, you will not be charged overdue fees.
