It’s all fun and games at Cooper Library for Arcade at the Library Monday, Aug. 18. New students are invited to come from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for games, food and a chance to win big prizes, including Paw Points, Apple Airpods, Clemson apparel and more.
There will be stations and games throughout Cooper Library that students can visit to score tickets, which will enter them into a drawing for the prizes.
The event is designed to be a fun way to introduce students to the resources and services available in the library, such as the Adobe Digital Studio and Makerspace, subject-area librarians, the Learning Commons, the Data Visualization Lab and Special Collections and Archives. Other partners including the Writing Lab, the Academic Success Center, TigerLive, the University Historian’s Office, the Center for Career and Professional Development, the Center for Student Leadership and Engagement, the Social Media Listening Center, Healthy Campus, Starbucks and the GIS Lab will also join in the fun.
The event is specifically designed for new students, but any student is welcome to participate.
