Clemson Libraries is seeking feedback from researchers and administrators on three new platforms designed to document, analyze, and demonstrate the growing impact of Clemson’s research activities.
From April 21 through May 20, Clemson users will have access to try SciVal, Dimensions and InCites and provide feedback on their experience.
SciVal is an advanced analytics solution that leverages Scopus data to evaluate research performance and identify strategic opportunities for institutions and researchers. Dimensions is a comprehensive research analytics platform that provides insights into research activities, funding and outcomes across various disciplines. InCites is a web-based research evaluation tool that helps institutions analyze productivity, impact, and collaboration using data from the Web of Science.
The Libraries will host demo/training sessions on each of the platforms at the following times:
- SciVal: Monday, April 21, at 1 p.m.
- Dimensions: Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m.
- InCites: Tuesday, April 22, at 1 p.m.
Links for these sessions are available at https://clemson.libguides.com/trials. Each session will be recorded and available online at the resource guide.
Vendor representatives will be on campus on May 6-9 and will host meetings in Cooper Library room 416 and online to answer questions. They will also participate in a panel discussion at the Research Symposium on May 7 at 1 p.m. in the Watt Family Innovation Center.
