About

The Learning Commons is located on the 3rd floor of Cooper Library. Its purpose is to provide a central learning hub for learners to find peer research assistance, consult with peers and experts across campus with student support services, attend workshops and activities with campus partners that support student academic success, professional development, and wellbeing. The Learning Commons is student-centered and continually seeks input and feedback from learners so that it meets their learning needs.

Our Partners

The Learning Commons collaborates with partners across campus to provide student success services in one central location. The Writing Lab is permanently located in the Learning Commons, while other partners will be providing consultations, office hours, and workshops for learners.

Peer Research Support

The Learning Commons is staffed with expert Student Staff who are trained to provide one-on-one assistance with research projects, campus resources, and Learning Commons events.
