Academic Profile
As a specialist in scholarly communication, I support Clemson University’s researchers, faculty, and students throughout the entire research lifecycle, from creation to publication, sharing, and dissemination. My focus lies in the evolving landscape of academic publishing, open scholarship, and enhancing research visibility. Key areas of expertise includes: 1) Scholarly publishing: best practices, select the right journal to publish, avoid predatory publishing. 2) Research Networking & collaboration. 3) Research writing: rights management, authorship, and copyright. 4) Research marketing: promote and communicate research outcomes to enhance visibility, engagement, and impact. 5) Research impact: maximize your research impact using tools and metrics and how to use them for your promotion 6) Research dissemination strategies for international collaboration. I collaborate with campus partners to promote the responsible sharing of research outputs through institutional repositories, ORCID integration, and research services. I lead initiatives and outreach program such as the Open Access Publishing Fund, transformative agreements and research impact.
