Position Description and Duties |
Clemson University Libraries is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to serve as a Student Research Assistant on a funded research project focused on soft robotics education. The student assistant will support the development and delivery of educational workshops, development and editing of website content, and research data collection. Position Responsibilities: The Student Research Assistant will work with the project team to: • Assist with the development and preparation of educational workshops related to soft robotics. • Assist with facilitating and hosting workshops for project participants. • Support data collection through surveys and interviews. • Organize and maintain project materials, research data, and documentation. • Assist with other project-related activities as needed. Required Qualifications: • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at Clemson University. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous coursework, research, or other experience related to STEM education. • Strong interests in STEM education or Robotics education. • Experience with website content development or editing. • Experience collecting or organizing survey and/or interview data. Supervision: The student assistant will work closely with Dr. Chuhao Wu (University Libraries) and Dr. Luyang Zhao (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering) as part of the project team.
