Find eligible journals for Clemson’s Open Access publishing agreements.

Clemson Journal Finder (CJF) supports Clemson authors in searching hundreds of journals covered by Clemson Libraries’ Transformative Agreements to determine whether your Article Processing Charge (APC) is fully covered, discounted, or not eligible.

Tips for using the tool:

• Eligibility: After you find/select a journal in search results, click on “license terms” to check if your article’s type is accepted under the eligibility section of the agreement as well as how to submit as a corresponding author. You should submit your article using your Clemson email address.
• Journal title search: if you use keywords that appears in many journal titles, you can use the publisher’s filter to display focused results.
• Wiley OA gold journals: All shared funds for Wiley gold APC’s for calendar year 2026 have been allocated. Authors are encouraged to submit to Wiley hybrid Open Access journals instead.

What is eISSN , APC coverage, Agreement Coverage Years?

• eISSN: a unique number identify the online, digital version of a journal.
• Agreement Coverage Years: Coverage Years in most cases apply to the article’s official acceptance date. Check the Coverage Years column to verify eligibility date for each journal.
• APC coverage:
  • Full: Clemson Libraries will pay the APC without any financial contribution from the author.
  • Full+ uncovered $/ page charge: Clemson Libraries will pay the APC with additional financial contribution from the author per page.
  • Discount: The author will obtain % discounted APC when the author uses Clemson email when submitting the article.
