The Scholars’ Lab at Cooper Library is pleased to announce our first workshop, entitled “Tableau Desktop: Beginner.” Tableau is a popular software option used to make interactive data visualizations and dashboards. No prior technical or analytical background is needed for this course.
You will learn how to install the software on your computer. The workshop will include an introduction to data visualization and different Tableau products. You will understand the interface of the Tableau Desktop and the abundance of features it provides to make your data more presentable. You will make different Tableau sheets that will include insightful charts and plots.
At the end of the workshop, you will create a customized interactive dashboard to convey the story using your own data.
