Subject areas: Creative technologies and director of the Adobe Studio and Makerspace. I help students, faculty and staff from all disciplines learn to make digital and hands-on creative projects.
What book are you currently reading? Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
What is your favorite spot in the libraries? The Adobe Studio and Makerspace [on the fifth floor of Cooper Library] — we have a video studio, an audio studio, 3D printers, sewing machines, a fabric printer, sticker printers, computer work stations and expert help.
What’s the best thing about working for the Libraries? I really enjoy getting to know all the students who come through the Adobe Studio, but especially the interns who work in the Studio. We have eight Adobe specialists and 22 Makerspace specialists and they are all so curious and enthusiastic.
What is one thing you wish students knew about the Libraries? That you can stop by the Adobe Studio and Makerspace anytime we’re open – no appointment needed – to get help or learn how to make podcasts, videos, 3D printed objects, custom stickers and so much more.
