Catherine Murray-Rust, Dean of Libraries at Georgia Tech, will be at Self Theater (in Strom Thurmond Institute) on Monday, November 11 from 3 – 4pm to share her experience about transforming Georgia Tech’s research library into a place that encourages exploration, fosters collaboration, and celebrates discovery and invention.
Her initiative, called “Library Next,” included a re-envisioning of library services and the organization of their physical spaces, resulting in a $95 million renovation. Join us to learn how Georgia Tech has built the research library of the future, one that is responsive to students and faculty’s scholarship needs, and gain some insights in to what is possible here at Clemson.
