Several Clemson Libraries locations will see a slight reduction in hours in Spring 2026.
Cooper Library
The biggest change is that Cooper Library will close at midnight Sunday through Thursday instead of 2 a.m., a reduction of 10 hours per week. Looking at historical gate counts, the time between midnight and 2 a.m. is the time when the fewest people are using the building, so cutting that time will have the least impact on students.
The Spring 2026 schedule for Cooper Library will be:
- Sunday: 1 p.m.-midnight
- Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m.-midnight
- Friday: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Gunnin Architecture Library
The Gunnin Architecture Library in Lee Hall will now close at 8 p.m. instead of 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday nights. Gunnin’s hours for the semester will be:
- Sunday: 2-8 p.m.
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Friday: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: closed
Historic Properties: Fort Hill and Hanover House
Two of Clemson’s historic homes — Fort Hill and Hanover House — will now be closed on Sundays and Mondays. Both homes will be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4:30 p.m.
Operating schedules at all Libraries locations are subject to change on University holidays and during academic breaks. For the latest hours of operation schedules, visit the Libraries website.
