We are excited to welcome both staff and students back to campus in just a few short weeks (be sure to soak up the last bit of summer while you can)! Library staff have been working hard over the summer to make sure things run smoothly in the fall as more and more classes transition back to in-person instruction. We encourage all instructors to utilize the Course Resource List in Canvas to make attaining textbooks and other course materials significantly easier and less stressful for students. You can now directly connect library and other external materials to your course with ease through your Canvas page! With just one click, students can see what materials they need for their course and have the option to purchase them through the links provided.
This system is easy to use and instructors can simply add citations from the web, library search, or import existing citation tools. You can even upload a document containing an existing reading list, or rollover reading lists from an existing course. This system will make accessing course materials significantly easier for both students and teachers! Go to your Canvas instructor page and select the Course Resource List tab and perform the easy-to-follow steps to set up your list.
