Clemson Libraries offers trial access to Reaxys database

Clemson Libraries currently has extended trial access to Elsevier’s Reaxys database, through June 30, 2025, to help determine the potential value of the resource to Clemson researchers.

Reaxys is a chemical database that “combines over a billion chemistry data points with AI to support innovation in drug discovery, chemical R&D and academia.” With Reaxys, researchers can search for chemical reactions, chemical structures and substance properties derived from journals and patent literature. Reaxys provides predictive retrosynthesis that combines high-quality reaction data with AI technology and also contains a large collection of physicochemical, toxicology and bioactivity data. Learn more about Reaxys and find training and support materials at https://elsevier.libguides.com/reaxys.

Users are encouraged to provide feedback to help Clemson Libraries gauge interest in Reaxys and to advocate for future funding, although funding is not currently available to acquire this resource. Feedback can be submitted via this web form, or via email to Jennifer Groff, liaison librarian for CECAS and for chemistry, at jgroff@nullclemson.edu.
