Clemson Libraries offers free access to several national newspapers

Want to stay informed about current events? Clemson Libraries makes it easy with access to several national newspapers, as well as regional and local news.

The Libraries provides free access to several national news publications for Clemson students, faculty and staff, including:

  • The New York Times — full online access to articles, blogs, videos and even games. Click here to register.
  • The Wall Street Journal — full access to articles, images and multimedia content spanning several decades. Click here to register.
  • The Economist — go to The Economist online and select “Login” when the site opens. Enter your Clemson email address, and you will be taken to the Clemson login page. You will have full access to The Economist after completing the login process.
  • The Chronicle of Higher Education — click here for full access.

The Libraries also offers access to articles from dozens of other newspapers through services like ProQuest and NewsBank. Visit the News and Current Issues guide to learn more about accessing news from a variety of newspapers.
