The Clemson University Libraries Offsite Shelving Facility is an off-campus site where library materials are stored to alleviate overcrowding in the on-campus libraries. The Offsite Shelving Facility is not open to the public.
Clemson students, faculty, and staff may use the online request forms in our FindIt tool to request materials from Offsite Shelving. Retrieval requests will be processed within 48 hours excluding weekends and University holidays. Deliveries are free of charge to University faculty, staff and students. However, materials are subject to replacement charges which follow the circulation policies of the library. See the library circulation policy for more detailed information.
All other patrons who are on campus may request items at the Cooper Library Reference Desk. Patrons who are not affiliated with Clemson University should use their local library’s interlibrary loan service to make requests.
