In response to the South Carolina Governor’s executive orders and our current knowledge of the COVID-19 pandemic, Clemson Libraries will be closed to the public until at least September 14, 2020. This includes Cooper Library, the Educational Media Center, Gunnin Architecture Library, Special Collections and Archives, offsite storage collections at the Library Depot, and our Clemson Design Center Library in Charleston.
Picking Up Items
Clemson Libraries will begin offering a Curbside Pickup service open to all Clemson students, faculty, and staff starting August 12th. Home Delivery will no longer be available to local students, faculty, or staff as the University transitions into the Fall 2020 semester. Request items from our FindIt@Clemson Tool and pick them up at Cooper Library during the designated times below:

Email notifications will verify a request is ready for pickup, at which time you can drive up, ride up, or walk up to the west side of Cooper Library (facing Rhodes Hall) and call our Curbside Pickup number to inform the Libraries of your arrival. Designated parking spots and signage will help to guide you to the pickup location and provide further information on picking up your request!

The Book Drop outside Cooper Library is now OPEN (as of 6/1/20). Book drops are now open on the East side of Cooper Library (near Strode Tower) for the return of items. Library books may now also be returned to any public library in Anderson, Oconee, or Pickens County. The Central Branch of the Pickens County Library has a drive thru book drop!
All Cooper items have been renewed until 9/30/20. All PASCAL items are in the process of being renewed until 9/30. Any fines or fees incurred during the COVID-19 period will be waived.

In-Person Services Suspended
All in-person services are suspended. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the following services have also been suspended until further notice:
- Technology checkout and reservations.
- Study room, classroom, and all other space reservations.
Even from a distance, Clemson Libraries are well prepared to continue to support your digital learning and research needs!
