The Clemson Center for Geospatial Technologies will host a hands-on workshop, Maps that Speak: Turning GIS Data into Professional Figures, Wednesday, March 4, from noon to 1 p.m. in 406A Cooper Library. The workshop will be led by Dr. Madeleine Block, GIS Professor in City and Regional Planning. Participants will learn how to design map figures for professional reports and published research articles, improve map legends, apply advanced cartographic techniques, and create layout templates and layer files for repeated figure series using ArcGIS Pro.
