Clemson Libraries has selected the second cohort for the Library Leadership Development Program (LLDP). The 12-month program gives Libraries faculty and staff the opportunity to gain a pragmatic understanding of leadership, build inter-division relationships, learn directly from library leadership and embrace their own ability to lead within the Clemson community.
The second cohort of the program consists of six faculty and staff:
- Sean Baker, exhibits and artifacts curator, Special Collections and Archives
- Michelle Colquitt, continuing resources and government documents coordinator, Acquisitions
- Amal Mostafa, scholarly communications librarian, Open Scholarship
- Stacie Powell, data services librarian, Open Scholarship
- Sally Smith, health sciences librarian, Teaching and Learning
- Patrick Stephenson, Adobe Studio and Makerspace manager, Open Scholarship
The program is being coordinated by Ariel Turner, associate dean for collections and discovery.
Participants meet monthly to learn about topics related to leadership, specifically library leadership within higher education. The program runs from January to December.
