Clemson graduate students will have the chance to showcase their data skills in the first-ever Graduate Student Data Visualization Award competition hosted by Clemson Libraries’ Data Visualization Lab.
Submissions will be accepted from January 20 through February 3, and graduate students are invited to submit their data visualizations from their academic research or from projects inspired by their own personal interests and creative pursuits. Monetary prizes will be awarded, with $500 going to first place, $300 for second place and $100 for third place. All participants will also receive free promotional gifts.
Entries must be original data visualization work created in the past 12 months, and work created as part of a course assignment is permitted. Group entries are allowed, but all members of the group must be currently enrolled graduate students at Clemson University. Only one entry per person or group is allowed.
A showcase of entries and an awards ceremony will be held February 13.
