Clemson Libraries is seeking a Director of Clemson University Press to oversee all strategic and operational aspects of the Press, the University’s publishing imprimatur. The Director manages the Press’s finances and administers its publishing program, including the acquisition, production, marketing, and distribution for scholarly and trade books as well as a growing portfolio of open access journals. The Director also maintains appropriate standards of peer review and chairs an Editorial Advisory Board.
Required qualifications:
A terminal degree in a core field within the Press’ publishing program
3+ years experience in academic or trade publishing.
