Libraries 2020 Employee of the Year!

The Clemson University Libraries is happy to announce that Maggie Mason Smith of our Interlibrary Loan/Resource Sharing office has been named staff 2020 Employee of the Year. A heartfelt congratulations goes to Maggie!

 

Maggie is a Library Specialist and the PASCAL Delivers Coordinator and works closely with all patrons on PASCAL requests. Many of us know her and have directly benefited from her expertise over the years. Also, Maggie is involved across campus in her work including with: Decolonize Clemson [https://www.decolonizecu.org/] and the CU LGBTQ Commission [https://www.clemson.edu/administration/commissions/lgbtq-commission/index.html] thereby fully supporting Clemson diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

This pandemic year’s field of nominees was crowded with 13 Libraries staff members being recognized for their outstanding performance under challenging conditions. Congratulations to all nominees, as well:
