Welcome to Clemson Libraries! We care about you and are here to help you succeed in your classes and with your research. Here is just a selection of the services we offer:

  • Six libraries – Cooper, Gunnin, the Education Media Center, Special Collections and Archives, and our locations at CU-ICAR in Greenville and the Charleston Design Center
  • Over 800,000 books and other print materials available in our libraries, and over 2 million eBooks, journals, and streaming media titles available 24/7 through our Google-like search tool
  • Access to research materials at SC libraries through PASCAL Delivers and across the world with interlibrary loan
  • Unique research collections in our Special Collections and Archives, including rare books, manuscripts and papers from prominent alumni, and university records. Areas of emphasis include agriculture, architecture, athletics, textiles, politics, and the history of the university and community
  • Librarians and other information experts who can help you with your research assignments and other projects
  • Individual and group study spaces
  • Technology – video cameras, mics, lighting kits, VR headsets, gaming consoles – that you can use to create high quality media projects
  • The Learning Commons is available to provide one-stop assistance to various student success support services such as the Writing Lab
  • Tailored digital media creation and making support at the Adobe Studio and Makerspace
  • Three historic properties, including Fort Hill, the home of Thomas Green Clemson and John C. Calhoun, Hanover House, and Hopewell Plantation
  • Coffee and conversation at our Starbucks!

And check out these recent innovations:

  • Textbook lending program: We have more than 100 textbooks from high enrollment courses on reserve at our Library Services desk
  • New technology in Adobe Studio: The Studio now offers a Roland Sticker printer, a computerized Brother embroidery machine, and a Cricut Hat and Mug press
  • Bone boxes: New plastic bones, muscle models, and chemistry molecule sets have been purchased for checkout
  • Experiential Learning Hub: The Learning Commons is partnering with the Office of Experiential Learning to provide students with advice in deciding what experiential learning experiences they should pursue. ExL Hub interns will be available in the Learning Commons to provide this service.
  • Data Visualization Lab: The lab offers support in data visualization, data analysis, and digital research methods.
