Starting Tuesday May 11, all Clemson Libraries will no longer be requiring seat booking. We have not seen the volume of traffic that we expected, so we believe we can adequately meet demand with the current number of seats. A negative COVID-19 test and a scanning at the entrance will still be required for entry into library buildings. We will also no longer be quarantining physical library materials when they are returned prior to checking them back out. Recent science demonstrates that the COVID-19 virus is spread less through contact with infected materials and more through personal interaction. The Libraries reserve the right to bring these protocols back should things change.
