Open position: Creative technologies manager

Clemson University Libraries seeks a Creative Technologies Manager. Reporting to the Director of the Adobe Studio and Makerspace (ASM), this position manages the daily operations of the ASM; trains, mentors, and supervises 8-12 student assistants; assists and teaches patrons on a range of multimedia and fabrication topics; oversees safety plans, inventory, and educational materials; troubleshoots and fixes technology equipment; participates in outreach activities to market ASM to the university community; and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in media arts, photojournalism, information services or education and entry-level work experience in a related field; or, a high school diploma and journey-level work experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with one or more areas of contemporary creative technology software and hardware, including: audio production, video production, graphic skills and a high degree of professionalism and initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree conferred by August 31, 2022
  • Experience: Relevant library experience 1+ year; Relevant teaching experience 1+ year
