Open Educational Resources Stipends

Congratulations to the faculty recipients of the 2018 Open Educational Resources Stipends!

These six faculty members have all created classes for Spring 2019. The classes, which have 265 students enrolled, will completely use cost-free instructional materials, and students will save close to $40,000 from purchasing traditional textbooks. Our Open Educational Resources Librarian, Yang Wu, is working with the faculty members to assess ways that OER teaching can be improved, and will have them give students a survey that he created, seeking their feedback on the OER courses at the end of the term.
