October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a month designated to commemorate the many contributions of people with disabilities to workplaces and the economy. The theme for this year’s NDEAM is “Disability: Part of the Equity Equation” to recognize the important role people with disabilities play in a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Clemson University is holding a number of events throughout the month to educate people on disabilities and the importance of accessibility. Click here to view a full list of NDEAM events.
Clemson Libraries has a display of books related to disability and accessibility topics in the popular reading area in the fourth floor west learning commons in Cooper Library. There is also a listing of books, articles, campus resources and other media related to NDEAM available on our website.
