Clemson Libraries is excited to welcome students back for the Fall 2022 semester! Cooper Library, the Gunnin Architecture Library and the Education Media Center (EMC) are all back to full capacity with no appointments required. Access to Lee Hall and Old Main will still be restricted to only those who work and have classes in the building, and an active TigerOne card is required to enter. Cooper Library access is restricted to current students, faculty and staff, but community borrower cards will be available soon. If you are unable to get in to pick up a book, please call our services desk at any library. You can also route book pick-up requests to Cooper Library.
To start off the semester, Gunnin will open Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Once all our new student assistants are hired and familiar with services and operations, hours will be extended to be open on Sundays and until 9 p.m. on weeknights. Hours should be expanded by Oct. 2.
The EMC will be open regular hours from Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Digital Media Learning Lab (DMLL) is available Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both the EMC and DMLL are closed on weekends.
Special Collections and Archives, located in the Strom Thurmond Institute Building, will be open to students, faculty and staff Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Community residents and other visitors can make an appointment to visit Special Collections and Archives by contacting archives@nullclemson.edu or 864-656-5176.
Cooper Library will be open:
- Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-2 a.m.
- Fridays, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
- non-home game Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Sundays 1 p.m.-2 a.m.
The Cooper Library Services Desk closes at 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday.
