Eclipse viewing glasses available in Cooper Library Monday, April 8

Free eclipse viewing glasses will be available in the lobby of Cooper Library Monday, April 8. Glasses are available to the first 300 people, one pair of glasses per person.

Clemson will have a partial view (approximately 81% totality) of the total eclipse on Monday. The eclipse will begin in the Upstate around 1:50 p.m. and peak at approximately 3:08 p.m.

Solar viewing glasses must be worn to view the eclipse throughout its duration. Do not look at the eclipse through regular sunglasses, a camera lens, telescope, binoculars or any other optical device due to risk of eye injury from the concentrated solar rays.
