See familiar texts in new ways and find insights and meaning in huge amounts of text using text analysis tools. Join us on April 5, 2021 from 1pm-2pm.
Text analysis can be applied to ancient documents AND today’s social media! As part of the Digital Humanities Workshop Series, this workshop will explain what textual analysis is and how it can be used in the social sciences and humanities. It will provide a brief overview of using textual analysis tools in your research projects. We will introduce the use of Voyant, Gephi, R, Python and others. This workshop is designed for the beginner. Come, learn, and get your “feet wet” with these tools.
