Alison Mero earned her PhD at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, and served as the Managing Editor of The Journal of Musicology (U of California P) for five years. Her areas of expertise/acquisitions are 19th- and 20th-century literature and music, the periodical press/periodical networks, and print culture.
