For Series Editors

Clemson University Press invites book series proposals from learned societies, scholarly organizations, and individuals working within the fields in which we are actively acquiring.

The working arrangement between Clemson University Press and the series editor can be tailored on a case-by-case basis, but in general the series editor brings proposals to the consideration of the Press within his or her scholarly niche. The Press oversees the peer review process and its Editorial Advisory Board makes ultimate publication decisions. Once a book is under contract, the series editor works with the author to shape the book’s contents, while the Press undertakes its production (copyediting, typesetting, cover design), marketing, and distribution.
