Haki Madhubuti gave a reading at Clemson’s 10th Annual Literary Festival, followed by a lively discussion about art, politics, and editing. Having published twenty-eight books with copies in print in excess of three million, Madhubuti is a major contributor to the Black Literary Movement. His most recent publication is Taking Bullets. The reading was co-sponsored by The South Carolina Review (published by Clemson University Press), Clemson University’s Office of Inclusion and Equity, and the Clemson Literary Festival.
