The Robert Frost Review is a peer-reviewed annual publication founded by The Robert Frost Society in 1978 to promote scholarship on the poet’s life and work. Each issue includes a bibliography of recent Frost-related publications and dissertations.
Clemson University Press will publish the Review starting with the 2020 issue, with Virginia Smith as its general editor. In 2018, Smith, a professor of chemistry at the United States Naval Academy, published A Scientific Companion to Robert Frost with Clemson. Everyone at the Press looks forward to continuing our collaboration with Virginia and her editorial team, including book reviews editor Steven E. Knepper of Virginia Military Institute, to further scholarship on one of the most celebrated American poets of the twentieth century whose multifaceted poetry continues to inspire. The publishing expertise and global distribution that Clemson brings to this partnership will ensure that the Review reaches an even wider audience than it has enjoyed in its nearly forty years in print. In adding the Review to its portfolio of journals, the Press also hopes to become a premier publisher for new research on Frost and his contemporaries.
All issues of the Review are available on JSTOR. All members of the Robert Frost Society receive print copies of the journal. If you would like to purchase issues of the journal published between 2001 and 2019 (numbers 1 through 29), please contact the editor.
