What’s in a Name? OneClickDigital Becomes RBdigital

The online audio and e-book provider OneClickDigital has changed its name to RBdigital; the Popular Reading & Audiobooks guide has been updated to reflect this change.

If you have an existing OneClickDigital account, there’s nothing you need to do; your account information will be transferred automatically.

If you have any questions, please check the RBdigital help page or contact Camille Cooper.

June is Audiobook Month

Even though June is almost over, there’s still time for you to celebrate.

Or you can celebrate audiobooks with our collection which is available year-round. We have a large collection that includes classics, self-help, popular fiction, and even college course lectures called Modern Scholars.

Our CD audiobook collection is located on the 4th floor of Cooper Library in Learning Commons West. We also have OneClickDigital, where you can browse downloadable audiobooks. Check our Popular Reading & Audiobooks page for more information. Find audiobooks new to the collection on the shelf at the start of the Popular Reading collection.

If you’ve never tried an audiobook, June is the month to do it!

OneClickdigital Update

OneClickDigitalAs of July 13, Microsoft will no longer be supporting DRM (digital rights management) for WMA files for eAudio. Anyone that currently downloads encrypted WMA titles using the OneClickdigital Media Manager or downloads encrypted eAudio manually (as Zip files) will no longer be able to do so.

You can still check out and stream an eAudiobook through the OneClickdigital site. These detailed instructions will show you how to stream a title after checking it out.

This change affects only patrons who use the OneClickdigital Manager. Anyone who uses the OneClickdigital app will still be able to download checked out eAudiobooks to their portable devices like smartphones and tablets.

More information about OneClickdigital is available on our Popular Reading and Audiobooks page. Questions? Contact Katherine Pelfrey.
