Fold to Pop, Fold to Wow
Using children’s pop-up books as inspiration, we celebrate folding, bending, twisting, and overlaying ‘flat’ materials to achieve fun, lively—and surprising–three-dimensional effects.
In parallel, studio instruction in architecture explores the application of folding to enable structures to stand, span, expand, and ‘adapt’ to variable conditions–or, simply to ‘Wow.’
