Total amount of library expenditures is more than $14,106,883. That is approximately $700 per student. There is a $8.4 million budget for library materials which includes electronic and print materials as well as books.
Clemson University Libraries have over 1.2 million print volumes, 513,181 eBooks, 82,526 eJournals, and approximately 842 databases. The libraries collection also includes 131,388 units of print and digital media.
Special Collections contains 362 processed manuscript collections including the papers of John C. Calhoun, Thomas Green Clemson, James F. Byrnes, and Strom Thurmond.
We also hold the papers of the Directors of the National Park Service documenting its expansion and controversies during the past fifty years along with numerous unique digital collections
